A tractor-trailer rolled over on the I-93 Southeast Expressway and pushed highway fencing onto the train tracks, causing major traffic delays and blocking service on the Red Line.

Three other vehicles were involved in the crash. The truck driver was not hurt, but two other drivers sustained minor injuries, State Police spokesman David Procopio said.

The fence near the tracks was damaged in the crash, which occurred shortly after 1 p.m. and caused “interference” on the right-of-way for Red Line trains, Transit Police said in a tweet.

The MBTA tweeted that shuttle buses replaced service between JFK/UMass and North Quincy stations on the Braintree branch, “due to service being blocked.”

“Please expect delays as shuttles are dispatched,” the MBTA said.

Three right travel lanes were closed, but the left lane remained open on I-93 southbound by “mile marker 12” in Boston while first responders were on scene, MassDOT spokesperson Jacquelyn Goddard said.

Procopio said the rollover occurred in the area of Savin Hill, and resulted in significant delays for drivers.

All lanes reopened at approximately 4:40 p.m., State Police said in a tweet.

The MBTA said regularly scheduled service resumed on the Red Line shortly after 4:30 p.m.
