Linear Slide Rail System igus has introduced a variant of the clip-type linear carriage that can be mounted directly on the linear rail so that operating panels, camera systems, measuring and testing units as well as tools can be transported practically from A to B. The linear slide can be removed from the rail, placed on another guide and locked in the appropriate position. Its clamping lever fixes the carriage in place and protects against vibration and unintentional adjustment. Based on the company’s drylin W linear slide, its sliding foils are made from tribologically optimized plastics, allowing the carriage to glide quietly on its rail without smearing. www.igus.com
