Fives will supply a complete tube mill to Orrcon Steel.
Fives has announced that, together with its regional partner ProTube Engineering, it will design, manufacture, and supply a complete OTO tube mill to Orrcon Steel, part of BlueScope, in Unanderra, Australia. Pipe Mill
The mill, which will be complete from coil loading to an automatic packaging system for 10-in.-dia. steel tubes, will produce tubes and profiles for residential, industrial, and commercial buildings, as well as structural and architectural elements. It will include a loading carriage with integrated burr rotation, as well as a proprietary packaging system with three robotic arms made to fit the tube length and site layout.
