The first step to vaping CBD properly is knowing how much to vape, and which strength to buy. There are multiple factors that need to be taken into account when determining CBD dosage. This includes body weight, body chemistry and severity of your condition.

These are the most common devices used to vape CBD vape juice. Some are easier to use than others, but you don’t need to be a rocket scientist to vape CBD e-juice, it’s simple. Disposable CBD vape pens are by far the easiest and most inexpensive entry into vaping CBD oil. They are tiny lightweight cigarette-style pens that are pre-filled with CBD vape juice, powered by a built-in coil and battery. Disposable CBD pens are generally good for a few hundred puffs before you will need to dispose of them.
CBD oil cartridges are slim cylindrical vape tanks that come pre-filled with CBD vape juice or CBD distillate. CBD oil cartridges require a vape pen or a 510 thread battery compatible with standard 510 cartridges. They typically hold around 0.5 mL to 1 mL of CBD vape juice, and are the second easiest way to vape CBD, next to disposables.
CBD pods are similar to CBD oil cartridges, but with a modern twist. They’re compatible with a JUUL battery, which is one of the most popular vapes on the market today. JUUL users can now easily swap between CBD or nicotine, just by snapping in a JUUL-compatible CBD pod.
Refillable CBD vape pens are rechargeable vape pens that you fill up with your own CBD vape juice. They usually consist of a simple tube-style battery attached to a vape tank with an internal coil. CBD vape pens generally produce more vapor and flavor than disposables, and are more cost effective in the long run. They require some basic maintenance, like changing the coil and keeping the tank clean.
Pod vapes that are refillable are suitable for use with CBD. They must be able to handle thicker viscosity e-liquids because most CBD vape juice contains 70% VG or more. Some of them may look like the JUUL, but they also come in a variety of forms and sizes.

Hey, so is it okay to use thin cbd juice in carts designed for thick cbd oil?? I had some plastic carts with wicks that worked great but I can’t find quality ones of these anymore online. Any advice on this would be appreciated, thanks!!
Hey Matt, it really depends on the cartridge. I’ve done it plenty of times before, and most of the time it worked out. I’ve used a lot of popular cartridges designed for thick oils like the SPRK cartridge and various CCELL cartridges. The worst thing that could happen is you get a bit of gurgling or spitback, but it will probably similar to the tanks you’re used to.

Hi Lee. I’ve never heard of that brand. Make sure it is PG/VG based, and designed for vaping. Some CBD oils, called tinctures, are oil-based and designed for oral use only. They are not suitable for vaping.
My favorite types of vapes for high strength CBD e-liquids are just simple starter kits and pod vapes. You really don’t need anything too fancy, CBD vapes just fine with a low-powered setup, in my opinion. For example, the Caliburn, Nord or a tank like the new Zlide. I hope that helps!
I’ve been using a tarot nano box mod and I’m not sure what temp to set it to so I can effectively vape with 250mg vape juice it has the tank it came with on it and I have been vaping at 200°F so I’m just wondering if I should change the temp higher or lower or?
Hi Nate! That’s awesome, sounds like you have a nice setup there. First off, are you sure you are using a temperature control compatible coil in your tank? That means the coil is made of either nickel, titanium or stainless steel. If not, you’ll want to set the mod to regular wattage mode. If it is a temperature control tank, from my experience 200°F is very low! Most people vape closer to 400°F or higher. Hi Mr. Kriegel. I have a question that I can’t seem to find an answer for. I have an aspire Zelos set up with original tank. I can’t seem to find the information on what wattage to use. I have been vaping the cbd oil at 7.5 w. should I use a higher watt like normal vape juice? Or does it require the lower watts?
Hey Sandra, that’s a nice setup for CBD. I’m guessing you are using the Nautilus tank that came with it, with the 1.8 ohm BVC coil that comes with it. That coil type is actually rated for 10-14 watts, so I would bump it up to 9 or 10 and see how that feels. That would be the perfect range for vaping CBD.
You can always gradually bump it up, but don’t go past 14 watts unless you have a lower resistance coil, the like 0.7 ohm coil for example. I hope that helps, best of luck to you!

Brass Knuckles Vape Hey Liam, the Zelos kit comes with the Nautilus 2 tank. I know they have the 0.7, 1.6 or 1.8 ohm coils for that tank. To put it simply, the lower the resistance, the more wattage will be available to you. So the 0.7 ohm coils can handle up to 20 watts, whereas the 1.8 ohm coils are only good for up to about 11-12 watts. For practical purposes, wattage and voltage are used interchangeably.
