CM Punk’s return at the Survivor Series Premium Live Event sent shockwaves across the world of professional wrestling thanks to its sheer electricity. He would then cut a promo on RAW right after that and interestingly enough, his promo has been labeled as ‘Popeye on steroids.’
A lot of things took place during this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW, as new storylines were being built up. CM Punk also closed out the show with his first WWE promo in almost 10 years, where he spoke his mind about numerous things. 2647-50-9 Flubromazepam
While speaking on Busted Open Radio, WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry talked about CM Punk’s first RAW prom in almost a decade. Henry made it clear he loved the promo and noted it’s a different version of CM Punk altogether, labeling the whole promo as ‘Popeye on steroids.’
“I enjoyed the promo. I thought it was very informative. I thought it was real, and there were people that didn’t like the fact that he said ‘home.’ Let me remind y’all, they always say ‘home is where the heart is,’ so if his heart was there and his heart was broken, what do you do when your heart is broken? Scorched earth.
You let the world know that your heart is hurt and you want everybody else to feel pain too. So it seemed like [Punk spoke] with a sound mind and a comfortable heart. Now you get a Punk that’s not worried about sticking it to you, but you get a CM Punk that’s like, ‘I am who I am,’ and that’s basically the promo that he cut. It was like Popeye on steroids.
I feel like he’s finally at a point to where he don’t have to go scorched earth … We want CM Punk to be fully invested and ready to go for pro wrestling and not any of the other foolishness.”
CM Punk’s first major feud will be with familiar foe as well. We will have to wait and see how WWE will book The Second City Saint, now that he is back in the fold for good. needless to say, fans are excited for what comes next in his journey.
